Comr. Adeshina Adewale Excel Gains Widespread Support Ahead of September 7th Human Rights Report Commission Election

COMR. ADESHINA ADEWALE EXCEL GAINS WIDESPREAD SUPPORT AHEAD OF SEPTEMBER 7TH HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT COMMISSION ELECTION

As the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria prepares for its highly anticipated National President election scheduled for Saturday, September 7th, 2024, in Asaba, Comr. Adeshina Adewale Excel continues to gather strong support from various regions. According to a report by Comr. Ezeala Odinacha, Financial Secretary of the Commission, Comr. Excel has successfully won the backing of key regions, surpassing other candidates.

Comr. Odinacha noted that Comr. Excel’s team has strategically worked to win the hearts of influential regional coordinators, placing him ahead of candidates such as Comr. Uche Precious from Anambra State and Comr. Ugochukwu Faith from Abia State, both representing the South East region. Other contenders, including Comr. Abdul Ibrahim of Zamfara State (North West Region) and Comr. Sulaimon Rabiu of Adamawa State (North East Region), are also vying for the position but have yet to gain the same level of regional support as Comr. Excel.

Comr. Adeshina Adewale Excel, hailing from Oyo State in the South West region, has garnered the endorsement of both the North Central and South South regions, making him a strong contender in the upcoming election. His support base is not just regional but cuts across the country, signaling his wide appeal as a candidate.

In the screening conducted by the electoral committee of the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria, led by General Secretary Comr. Kabiru Hammed, Comr. Excel received commendations from all quarters. Notably, the screening process revealed that Comr. Excel is the youngest candidate in the race, a fact that has earned him widespread admiration and the title of "youngest and mightiest" among his peers.

Comr. Excel has used his platform to introduce innovative ideas aimed at transforming the commission and contributing to national progress. One of his key promises is the enhancement of the Nigerian Constitution by ensuring its translation into major local languages such as Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo. This initiative is expected to make the constitution more accessible to a wider audience and foster greater understanding of fundamental rights.

In addition, Comr. Excel has expressed a commitment to tackling Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges. He emphasized that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) shares responsibility for the current economic crisis, arguing that their focus on securing a national minimum wage has left small and medium enterprises (SMEs) struggling to cope with rising costs. Comr. Excel pointed out that while the civil service enjoys the benefits of the wage increase, other sectors, including private schools, POS operators, and small businesses, are unable to afford the same compensation for their employees.

These bold statements and clear policy proposals have resonated with many of the commission's zonal coordinators, who see Comr. Excel as a leader ready to make a difference. His candidness and willingness to address critical issues have further strengthened his appeal ahead of the election.

Earlier today, during a series of interrogations and discussions with zonal coordinators, it was evident that many were enthusiastic about the prospect of Comr. Excel taking office. His youth, vision, and leadership qualities have set him apart as a candidate who can bring positive change to the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria.

As the election approaches, all eyes are on Comr. Adeshina Adewale Excel, with widespread support propelling him closer to victory. The regional coordinators, along with many others, wish him success as he prepares for the pivotal election on Saturday, September 7th.

Signed:
Comr. Ezeala Odinacha
Financial Secretary, Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria
